Zaakatul Fitr

The DSM Jamaat requests all members to deposit all FITR contributions into the FITR boxes.  The boxes will be made available on Eid Night and during Eid Prayers clearly marked “FITR”.

Zaakatul Fitr funds are distributed by the Jamaat fairly and evenly between deserving families.  Distribution is done in advance to allow ample time and to ensure all funds are delivered before Zohr prayers on Eid day.

We request all members to channel their contribution through the Jamaat to ensure appropriate distribution to the deserving.

ZAKAATUL FITR AMOUNT

The Jamaat has recommended the following rates of FITR for Eid Ul Fitr 1432 AH

Pishori rice (grade 1)            Shs 10,500/- per person / 3 Kgs

Local rice                                 Shs 4,800/-   per person / 3 Kgs

VIP rice                                    Shs 4,500/-   per person / 3 Kgs

Wheat Flour                           Shs 3,900/-    per person / 3 Kgs

Dates (Ex Oman)                  Shs 10,500/-  per person / 3 Kgs

Dates (Ex Saudi Arabia)      Shs 12,000/-  per person / 3 Kgs
