In the Holy month of Ramadhan, the Secretariat organized many activities amongst which was the Youth Forum for both boys and girls (in different occasions) in conjunction with the Ladies Managing Committee.

The program was held at the Gents Imambargah after the program and ended approximately by 12 o’clock midnight. After the session barbeque sehri was served.

This was a first time opportunity for the youths to have a face to face talk with the Jamaat Managing Committee. The Youths had many questions and concerns which they raised to the President, Alhaj Azim Dewji. Their concerns were mostly on education, Volunteer services, drug abuse and other social vices and challenges faced by them in today changing environment. The President assured them that the Jamaat is in full support of them and will work tireless to address the challenges faced by the youths. A team of ‘Youth Councilors’ was formed to help youths to be counselled and guided for further education abroad and to liaise with them on their needs and any kind of help. The President also asked the youths to take maximum advantages of various loan and grant schemes for education offered by the Jamaat and Africa Federation.
