B ismihi Taala.
Difference in the Khoja Community in late 18th Century on the subject of Shia Theology – belief and practice between Ismaili-Khojas and Ithnaasheri Khojas grew deeper, stringent and intolerable year after year. Ultimately the constraint separated them into two different communities. It was 1860.
Khoja Shia Ithnaasheri Community was smaller, weaker, poorer and less educated. Thence started our struggle for survival and progress as an independent Community. In the last one and a half century we have accomplished much in our uphill struggle. Thanks to our religious mentality which gave us honest, devoted, wise and persistent leaders – In series one after another, decade after decade. Success is also due to our cooperative, conscience and united brotherhood. Today we are spread in all the continents. As a living community we have to continuously plan ahead for better tomorrow for our coming generation in order that we may not be left behind or isolated.
Recent inventions in Science and technology have turned the world into global village. The IT developments have accelerated communications system. We with our worldwide community cannot afford to ignore modern facilities.
It is my pleasure to initiate our Jamaat Website. It will help us and our community at large come closer and understand each others problems and achievements better. We hope this will help us to coordinate our communal developments with individuals as well as organization for common good.
