  1. Salaamun Alaykum

We have learnt with great sadness about the tragic deaths of four young members of our community and many others following the collapse of the building adjacent to our Masjid in Dar es Salaam. It has indeed been a very difficult and trying moments particularly for families who have lost their beloved, Dar es Salaam Jamaat and the entire community. Imam As-Sadiq (as) has said, “Whoever from among our Shi’a is tried with an affliction and endures it, shall be granted the reward of a thousand martyrs”. Kindly accept and convey our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.

  11. It is immense tragedy for all the community but particularly the families of the four boys and 32 employees. For these families, close relations that inevitably leave this world are always sad times but the departure of one’s dear son is the most difficult one to bear. Let us pray that Allah swt give the parents and the families patience to bear and perseverance to constantly remember them to Allah swt. Their departure is a great loss but we live for Him and through His bounty and grace we pass our journey in this world. Please do convey my grief for the departed soul and we pray to Him to give her maghfera. Amen. May Allah swt give us all tawfiqaat. Amen.
