The Bagamoyo mosque that was built in 1889 has been recently renovated by the KSI Jamaat. A number of the Jamaat officials paid a visit to the mosque on the 5th of November 2013 tosee the improvement of the mosque after the repairs.
The repairs that were observed by the members included; the painting of the whole interior and exterior of the mosque, the roof top was changed for precautionary purposes due to the rainy seasons. All electrical components of the mosque have been repaired and plumbing of all the toilets have been restored to mint condition.
The Mosque is now in a spruced up condition and is welcoming visitors from Dar-es-salaam who go there during the weekends. The caretaker is Bakari and should be able to take care of all the visitors. Feedback is most welcome on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Dar-es-salaam Jamaat spends a substantial amount to keep these properties in a good condition and donations are most welcome should anybody want to donate in a good and worthy cause.
